Alise Eastgate is a Suva-based painter, designer, illustrator, and muralist. Through her paintings she explores our connection to the natural world and our responsibilities to Mother Earth. Her work is rooted in the belief that all beings deserve the right to live, love and be free.

Alise has a degree in Studio Art with a focus in painting from the University of Alabama and has been and making and showing art in the U.S. for over 20 years. She has exhibited work in solo and group shows in Oakland and San Francisco, including the de Young Museum, and live-painted at events and festivals throughout California and the Fiji Islands. Through her collaborative studio Wai Roka Studios she has designed and illustrated for artists, activists, and nonprofits and painted murals in Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento and Fiji.
